Background


Dawn Fantasia is a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 24th Legislative District. She assumed office in January 2024 after winning election in 2023. 


Fantasia has a professional background in education. She has worked in public and charter schools as a teacher, principal, and administrator, and has been involved in academic program development. 


Prior to her service in the state legislature, Fantasia held local and county-level roles. She served on the Franklin Borough council and was later elected to the Sussex County Board of County Commissioners.  Her experience across municipal and county government preceded her election to statewide office.
