Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. is the county executive of Essex County, New Jersey. He first assumed the position in 2003 and has been reelected in subsequent county elections. As county executive, he oversees the administration of Essex County government, including management of county departments, implementation of the county budget, and supervision of regional programs and services.

Before becoming county executive, DiVincenzo served in the New Jersey Legislature representing the 28th Legislative District in the New Jersey General Assembly.
